This was our work route. <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Roman Amphitheater: we started the day right by the sea, reviewing the history of this 2nd-century venue that hosted gladiator fights and beast hunts in front of thousands of spectators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Roman Circus and Praetorium<\/strong>: we ventured into the monumental underground vaults of the Circus, one of the best-preserved chariot racing buildings in the West, directly connected to the Praetorium tower.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pla de la Seu and Cathedral<\/strong>: once in the Part Alta, we analyzed how medieval Tarragona was built over the Roman forum, a transformation that can be perfectly appreciated in the square providing access to the Cathedral.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Casa Castellarnau<\/strong>: we made a stop at this 14th-century <a href=\"https:\/\/tgna.cat\/castellarnau\">palace-house<\/a> to learn how the nobility of Tarragona lived during the modern era, discovering its Gothic courtyard and noble rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tarragona Walls<\/strong>: we wrapped up the visit at the Archaeological Promenade, walking along the foot of the oldest
