On August 17, 2025, the tenth edition of the traditional parade of giants and big-heads of Sant Magí will be held. A must-attend event for all lovers of popular culture, which this year will feature 15 giant groups, or ‘colles,’ from Catalonia and Aragon.
This edition is special because the parade is returning to its traditional route. The Geganters del Passeig Torroja and the Club Maginet have prepared an itinerary that runs through the historic city center to the rhythm of music, with well-known songs like “El Bequetero” or “Jaume Guasch“.
The parade will start at the Rambla Nova, right next to the Mediterranean Balcony (‘Balcó del Mediterrani’). From there, the giants and guest groups will make their way through the most emblematic streets of the Old Quarter (‘Part Alta’), such as Carrer Major, until they reach the Plaça de les Cols.
The grand finale of the festival will be at the Pla de la Seu. All participating ‘colles’ will perform the great joint dance, a moment that showcases the vitality of the tradition and consolidates Tarragona as one of the great ‘gegantera’ cities of Catalonia.
